I am a recent graduate from the University of Findlay, where I majored in Public Relations and Equestrian Studies, with a minor in writing. My passion for horses and all things equine started when I was 7 and quickly grew into a way of life. Since then, I have grown from a horse-crazy little girl to an avid competitive dressage rider.

As I started college, I realized my passion no longer resided solely in riding and training horses, but rather in promoting equestrian sports. As a member of Findlay’s Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) team, I worked with our captain to promote the team and recruit new members.  

 

During the winter of 2018, I was able to intern with Phelps Media Group in Wellington, Fl during the Winter Equestrian Festival and Adequan Global Dressage Festival. With Phelps, I learned the art of equestrian promotion working with our clients and double-dipped into the world of equine journalism as we reported all twelve weeks of competition.

In late 2018, I began working with Emily Gill, of Emily's Equestrian Enterprises on creating a new website for her business. Since starting our partnership, we have watched her business grow in numbers as more clients were able to find out about her services. We continue to work with each other to find ways to promote her unique business.

When I wasn't busy riding horses and studying, I was also a tutor at Findlay’s writing center, where I was able to work with a variety of students to improve their writing. In the past, I have also worked as a contributing writer for The Pulse, UF's student newspaper. I also enjoy reading and can often be found curled up with a sappy romance novel and a cup of coffee during a rare quiet moment
